IE Business School Spain Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation Chairman Juan Jose Güemes will be co-chair at the Horasis Asia Meeting in Binh Duong New City, Vietnam from November 25-26.
Launched in 2016, the annual Horasis Asia Meeting is one of the world’s foremost discussion forums, offering an ideal platform to explore and foster cooperation, impact investing and sustainable growth across Asia.
“We are thrilled to once more be gathering the region’s key leaders and entrepreneurs with a plan to form actionable, collaborative plans.”
This year, 400 leaders from business, government, academia, and civil society will meet to discuss and form a systemic view of activities affecting the drivers of Asia’s economic success and how Asian businesses interact regionally as well as globally.

Apart from being distinguished as a co-chair, Güemes will take part in the “The Economic Outlook” plenary where he will provide his insight into the questions, “What is the current state of the regional and global economy? What does the changing nature of the global economy mean for Asian business? And, conversely, what is Asia’s impact on global growth?”
Likewise, Güemes’ distant colleague, IE Business School Regional Director for Asia Pacific Tetyana Kretova will take part in the discussion on “Re-igniting Micro-entrepreneurship” where she will share her thoughts on the theme: “Microfinance organisations and community development banks created a new wave of entrepreneurship across Asia. How effective is microfinance in reducing poverty? And how can microfinance build bridges to economic growth? Will new AI developments help its progress?”
Founded and Chaired by Dr. Frank-Jürgen Richter, the Horasis Global Visions Community is an independent international organization committed to enacting visions for a sustainable future.
“Horasis understands that tackling globally relevant issues and implementing growth strategies requires thought leadership and peer-to-peer networks,” said Dr. Richter.
“We are thrilled to once more be gathering the region’s key leaders and entrepreneurs with a plan to form actionable, collaborative plans,” the Horasis chairman added.
Earlier this year, Horasis held its annual India Meeting in Malaga, Spain where Novobrief took part and spoke with the Mayor of Malaga, Francisco de la Torre, about the entrepreneurial scene in Malaga.
