The Senseizero app is evolving to become a pillar of financial education for young people. Recently it launched The Market Simulator, a stock market game to encourage financial education in new generations. Now Senseizero is integrating new stocks in International Markets for its investment platform.
The evolution of the app has taken a leap forward in recent months, dedicating a large part of its development to financial education for young people. Thanks to the new functionality of The Market Simulator, users will be able to trade with fictitious money, experiencing the ups and downs of the market in real-time.
One of the broker’s missions is to facilitate the ability of the younger generation to save and invest in a safe way. Senseizero also offers its users Intelligent Alerts, which research the sentiment of the most important stocks on Twitter, making it easier to study the market without being a financial expert.
Senseizero’s CTO Óscar Barba Seara recently stated in an interview for RTVE’s Emprende program: “Senseizero is an app that seeks to democratize stock market investment. The operation is very simple, basically download the application, register with Sensei, create a securities account with ABANCA to invest, and start trading in a few minutes. In order to invest with Senseizero you need to be an ABANCA customer and have a current and securities account with them at no cost so that it is very easy to start and does not entail any penalty to the user. Senseizero is currently available for purchase in the Spanish market”.
New and revamped
Among the new functionalities offered by the application are the onboarding process, and the above-mentioned Stock Market Game and International Markets. The first one is about the new registration process that features a new and revamped user experience: a faster and more intuitive interface. Same Senseizero, but improved, according to the broker. Waiting times are reduced for new clients, making it possible to finish registration in just a few minutes.
The Market Simulator provides users with a space where they can experiment with the different functionalities of this broker to learn how to invest safely. It also offers the possibility of organizing public or private trading tournaments with groups of people, offering a unique learning experience. It is a new way to start investing in equities without risks.
Secondly, there is the International Markets feature. One of the most awaited novelties is its arrival to the app, where the main currencies and shares of the leading US companies, among others, are incorporated.
Senseizero’s CTO Óscar Barba Seara commented: “At the beginning of this year, international markets will be incorporated and the final touches are being completed for the launch of the stock market game. I think it’s a great opportunity to stop the fear of moving your money. In terms of security, we are a regulated agent of ABANCA and the whole project is approved by the CNMV. We started the relationship with ABANCA from an innovation program in which we started to collaborate doing pilots. From this relationship we saw that there was matching, that there was good harmony and that we were both looking for a common goal. ABANCA decided to support us by investing and collaborating at the product level in the application”.
Senseizero belongs to TXSTOCKDATA S.L., a company from Ourense based in the Technological Park of Galicia -Tecnópole, which collaborates in this project with ABANCA for the provision of investment services. The financial institution ABANCA is subject to the supervision of the Bank of Spain and the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
