Polish personalized parcel startup Packhelp appoints new director in Seville

Polish personalized parcel startup for businesses, Packhelp, continues to strengthen its European expansion, with a new managing director appointed for Spain in Seville.

Since 2017, Packhelp has grown from being a small local company to being one of the main suppliers of parcels in Europe, cooperating with more than 1,000 brands in 30 different countries. It has recently managed to raise €2 million in its latest round of financing from four venture capitalists, further strengthening its capacity for potential growth.

Now, the Polish startup’s efforts are aimed at increasing its penetration in what it considers to be key markets in Spain and Germany.

Enrique Aguilar, who from his position as General Manager will act as ambassador for the Polish startup in Spain, and he will be responsible for strengthening the company’s position in the country.

Aguilar, who will be responsible for the development of the business in all its aspects, has already worked for two different startups in Germany and Finland.

“Enrique has extensive experience working with startups from different countries and sectors,” said Konrad Kwiatkowski, Co-Founder and Marketing Director of Packhelp, adding, “he understands perfectly the vicissitudes of it and will add great value to the penetration strategy in the Spanish market. We see it as a very important profile in the structure of the company and the key to placing Packhelp as a benchmark in Spain.

The Polish startup’s services are for anyone who wants to order fully custom-branded packaging for e-commerce, retail and agencies.

The company sells corrugated boxes in various shapes and sizes and is looking to better align boxes to the right sized products as well as cut down on waiting times on orders.

The company’s web app offers an individual imprint design, transparent prices, and an Augmented Reality, 3D visualization that users can show to others, as well as placing orders within few minutes.

With Packhelp, anyone can order packaging with customized imprint from 30 pieces and receive them within 14 days.

Also in Seville

Earlier this year Seville-based Ciclogreen, the online platform that offers gifts and discounts for sustainable travel by bicycle, carpool, and public transport, closed a funding round of €245,000 led by Ship2B.

The Spanish startup’s investment round included €120,000 led by Impact Equity BF, the investment vehicle of Ship2B, in which the investment fund of Iese and the business angels of SouthUp Ventures have also participated.

Funding was completed with €25,000 from Banco Sabadell and a subsidy of €100,000 from the European accelerator frontierCities2.
