The Elma Care app, which is available on iOS and Android, offers users the possibility of receiving a diagnosis via chat, phone call, or video call.

“Sixty percent of Spaniards have stopped going to the doctor at some point due to a lack of time, travelling, waiting to be seen, etc.,” said Elma Care CEO and Co-Founder Miguel Ángel Antón, in a statement to the press.

Mentioning that these situations lead many patients to self-medicate, the CEO added, “If these users had a solution in the palm of their hand, they could have had a professional diagnosis without the discomfort but with all the guarantees.”

The Elma Care eHealth consultation app was born with the intention of efficiently satisfying the needs of the patient through the financial support of Antai Venture Builder, the fund founded by Miguel Vicente and Gerard Olivé.

If you don’t know who Vicente and Olivé are, these gentlemen are the co-founders of multiple successful Spanish startups, including:

Vicente also co-founded the Conector Startup Accelerator and is the Chairman at Barcelona Tech City while Olivé is also the Founder and CEO at Garapa Investments.

According to Elma Care COO and Co-Founder Albert Malagarriga, “It has been shown that physical and mental balance generates well-being in people and increases productivity and efficiency, and that for a worker, after the salary, the benefits offered by the companies most valued by employees are those related to health.”

“That is why, in order to increase the ’employer branding,’ more and more companies are joining the digital change and seek eHealth solutions that improve the quality of life and provide more comfort and facilities,” he added.

Elma Care has developed a powerful app, in collaboration with Teckel Medica, that provides a professional pre-diagnosis.

Thanks to digitalization and AI systems, the eHealth startup can offer people a private medical service with continuous health care from €5.90 per month. The service is available for companies and their employees, as well as for individuals.

Once the pre-diagnosis has been received, users can get a medical report and recommended guidelines for treatment, including dispensing the necessary medical prescriptions within minutes.

The medical information on the platform is fully encrypted in a way that guarantees rigorous security in the storage and transmission of data.

In addition, they have a system for verifying the identity and credentials of doctors by electronic signature.

This Spanish eHealth app is a new generation mobile native solution, which incorporates artificial intelligence, chat and personalized medical service, with the mission to resolve quickly and conveniently, any medical questions at any time and at any time via mobile devices.

This new business model improves the quality of medicine and adds value to the user. Its sophisticated system of doctor-patient communication via chatbox, positions you as the most complete eHealth solution in the current market.
