- August 22, 2024

The countdown is on for the 2024 Aer Lingus College Football Classic between Georgia Tech and Florida State University, as over 25,000 US fans begin to touchdown this week in Dublin ahead of the classic.

This month the city of Dublin embraces itself for the largest-ever single movement of US citizens outside of the US for an individual sporting event”.  With the classic having created a huge boom for Ireland’s tourism sector after the pandemic, Sim Local’s partnership with Aer Lingus this year is ready to ensure visitors can enjoy the games as smoothly as possible.

The leading eSim provider is announcing it has partnered up with Aer Lingus to offer an exclusive 15% discount on its eSIM plans, available on the Aer Lingus College Football app

Sim Local is also introducing a new Guide to Dublin, placing a spotlight on some of Dublin’s must-visit spots.

Added the Sim Local team, “At Sim Local, our team is spread out across the world, giving us a unique insider perspective in over a dozen cities. We created this series to highlight the must-see attractions, as well as some hidden gems that only locals know.”

The game, itself, will kick off at 5pm in the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday 24th August, marking the opening fixture or Week Zero of the 2024 College Football season.

The classic is a sell-out with over 47,000 tickets sold.

All attendees are encouraged to make their way to their seats by 4.30 pm, to soak up the excitement and razzmatazz that the pre-game spectacle will bring.
