Spanish accelerator Startup Olé announces its fourth annual event to take place in Salamanca next April that will bring together some 5,000 startups, entrepreneurs, universities, and media specialists.

“Our goal is to reach higher figures than those of 2017 edition (over 400 Startups, 50 Accelerators, 40 Corporates, 200 Speakers and 60 Investors with a total investment portfolio of over €5 billion). We are working very hard to bring you a great event full of opportunities (matchmaking, startup fair, pitching competition, panel sessions, and above all lots of networking!),” states Startup Olé.

Emilio Corchado

Next year’s event will take place April 17-19, 2018 at the Hospedería Fonseca in Salamanca, and is looking to gather some 5,000 people from a variety of industries who will participate in round tables, workshops, and acceleration programs for small and medium enterprises.

“We want to create synergies, selective networking and business opportunities,” said Startup Olé CEO Emilio Corchado via La Vanguardia.

For startups looking to apply for the pitch competition and startup fair portions, the price is 60 EUR + VAT per startup. This includes catered networking for two people, and the deadline is November 30, 2017.

The organizers are looking for startups in the following sectors:
