  • Madrid-based medtech startup MedLunics has closed a €34.4 million round led by Ysios Capital and Caixa Capital Risc. It is, apparently, the largest round to date in the Spanish medtech sector

Startup exits:

  • El Español talked to Homeserve’s CEO about the acquisition of Spanish startup Habitissimo for €20 million earlier this year

Accelerator & investor news:

  • The uncertain future of Startupbootcamp Barcelona. The IoT accelerator program might soon come to an end after three batches in the Catalan capital

  • PcComponentes to open its e-commerce platform to allow third parties to sell electronics, copying Amazon’s marketplace model. The company also opened today its second retail store in Madird
