Redbooth, the communications and collaboration platform for the enterprise born in Barcelona and now headquartered in California, has closed an $11 million round led by Altpoint Ventures. Previous investors Avalon Ventures also participated in the round.
VentureBeat broke the news and Redbooth, formerly known as Teambox, confirmed the round. To date the company had raised $8.5 million from international and local investors such as FJME or Kibo Ventures, bringing the total to almost $18 million.
Redbooth currently has more than 5,500 paying customers, including companies such as Airbnb, Apple or Spotify. The last time we heard about the company’s financial situation was in October 2013, when monthly recurring revenue was growing at a 1,273% rate over the previous two years.
