Today will conclude one of the biggest technology conferences in the world, the Mobile World Congress (MWC), in Barcelona.
The 4 Years From Now (4YFN) conference is held during this event and features up-and-coming digital businesses worldwide.
At the event this year, more than 780 businesses presented their products.
Created almost 10 years ago, the 4YFN event connects entrepreneurs with financiers, accelerators, and major tech companies.
A group of investors chooses the top five competitors in each competition round based on factors like innovation, scalability, and impact.
Over the years, the conference has gained prominence, drawing hundreds of companies worldwide to present their ideas, network, and show off their goods and services.
The best startup of 4YFN 2023
Out of the total number of companies that submitted applications for the award, 50 businesses were pre-selected, and five advanced to the final stage.
The UK-based Unmanned Life, the Netherlands’ Aircision, the Danish DeafTawk, the US-based Microverse, and the Spanish Payflow.
Finally, the panel of investors selected the latter as the startup competition winner.
Payflow, was founded by Avinash Sukhwani and Benoit Menardo in 2020. The startup offers a financial wellness platform that allows employees to receive flexible compensation and on-demand salary payments.
Payflow’s cloud-based software also enables companies to manage this solution.
The startup has expanded to Portugal and several Latin American countries and has over 300,000 users and 500 clients worldwide.
Avinash Sukhwani, the co-founder at Payflow, mentioned exclusively to Novobrief about their participation in the 4FYN competition:
“Innovating requires a lot of work, smart and hard work. All the 60 people that conform Payflow family work day and night to improve the way frontline employees charge for jobs. The 4YFN awards boost our strength to keep working at the best level because, despite the fact we’ve achieved that 300.000 Spaniards can charge whenever, we want to reach millions more.”
