New ISDI-Microsoft collaboration brings genAI to executive MBA program in Spain

It’s already a reality that artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the professional dynamics of many industries. From the most junior talent on up to executives, everyone is facing a changing job landscape in which companies require more people with new skills related to AI.

Mastering AI tools will be the most in-demand technical skill in the coming years, and some industry experts believe it will be an essential requirement for success in the job market.

According to Microsoft’s latest Labor Trends Report, 50% of business leaders in Spain believe that training their teams in AI will be a crucial responsibility in the next five years. This will be paramount in meeting the challenges of automation and the growth of new productive areas.

This data coincides with the growing range of training courses related to artificial intelligence. From courses to MBAs, leaders and executives must now take the step to boost their careers and lead the companies of the future, which are increasingly interested in automation and operational efficiency.

In a recent announcement, ISDI and Microsoft unveiled a collaboration to effectively incorporate generative AI (genAI) into high-level training. The result of this alliance is the creation of a pioneering module within the Executive MBA in Business and Technology (MIB) in Spain, through which participants design, train, and apply their own AI agent using Microsoft Copilot.

ISDI Managing Director Basola Vallés highlighted: “This collaboration reinforces our commitment to training well-rounded professionals who are capable of leading business transformation in a context marked by AI.”

The module, called “Create Your AI Agent,” consolidates this MIB as the first Executive MBA to structurally integrate business, technology, artificial intelligence, and human skills.

It is set up in five stages throughout the master’s program, through which students begin by activating their agent in Copilot Studio and progress to implementing it in real-life projects, document analysis, strategic simulations, and professional development. The goal is for AI to become an operational extension of their work capabilities, beyond the academic sphere.

Paco Salcedo, president of Microsoft Spain, emphasized that “at Microsoft, we contribute our technology and experience so that students can turn AI into a real competitive advantage for their organizations.”

Beyond technical application, this ISDI program is designed to directly boost the professional development of leaders and executives.

ISDI’s MIB has been recognized by specialized business media as one of the most relevant executive training programs in Spain, with a measurable impact on professional progression: an average salary increase of 38% per year after completing the master’s degree and 70% job mobility among its graduates, according to a company release shared with Novobrief.

In addition, data from LinkedIn and Microsoft indicate that those who mention AI skills in their profiles are 17% more likely to be considered for new job opportunities.

With this agreement, the pioneering business school in education for the digital age in Spain lays the foundations for a broader integration of AI into other ISDI executive programs, with the continued support of Microsoft in terms of technology and expertise in implementing intelligent solutions.

The goal is to train leaders who are prepared to operate, innovate, and make decisions in a business landscape increasingly influenced by artificial intelligence.
