Innovation is crucial in any industry, and the construction space is no exception.
Although the construction sector has traditionally been slow to adopt new technologies and processes, the industry is expected to grow from $13,570.90 billion in 2021 to $22,873.96 billion in 2026 at a rate of 9.8%.
As the industry becomes more complex and competitive, there is a growing need for innovative solutions.
Startups are uniquely positioned to bring fresh ideas and disruptive technologies to the construction industry, opening the door to spaces and platforms that showcase new ideas and support founders need to bring their solutions to market.
With this in mind, Madrid-based Cemex Ventures, the corporate venture capital and open innovation unit of Cemex, Black & Veatch, Dysruptek by Haskell, Ferrovial, Hilti, VINCI Group’s Leonard, NOVA by Saint-Gobain, Trimble, and Zacua Ventures join forces to host the 7th edition of the construction sector’s biggest competition: The Construction Startup Competition 2023.
