Small and medium-sized construction companies are facing a new digitalization and competitive era. With the lack of innovation in the construction industry, companies waste up to 30% of their time on repetitive tasks and inefficiencies.
Barcelona-based Tribboo was born as a project management solution to transform the construction industry. The tool automates repetitive tasks and frees up time for more meaningful work, all through artificial intelligence-driven processes.
The Tribboo service delivers value in just minutes, with an intuitive interface and powerful features that make it easy to use. Thanks to their effective and flexible platform, the Tribboo team was able to raise €410,000 in its first round of funding.
The company is led by a young, passionate, and multicultural founding team with Ignacio Escarpenter and David Uch from Spain and France as Co-CEOs, together with Jorge Ccarhuas from Peru as CTO. In just 8 months they managed to get more than 700 companies already using the service, mainly in Spain, but also in Europe and Latin America.
“We are delighted to have the support of our investors […] This funding will allow us to continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in the construction industry. Our goal is not only to make the industry more efficient and sustainable but also for professionals in the industry to enjoy their daily work”, mentioned David Uch, Co-CEO of Tribboo, to Novobrief.
The European investment funds Pitchdrive and Demium Capital support this investment round alongside the participation of business angels Jaime Fernández, Roberto Martínez, Lorenz Bogaert, a well-known serial entrepreneur, and ENISA.
The construction industry has long been in need of innovation, and Tribboo is at the forefront. A sector plagued by inefficiencies and waste, where many companies struggle to manage their projects effectively. With its complete project management solution, the platform has the potential to revolutionize the way construction companies work.
“Tribboo is a game changer,” says Lorenz Bogaert, one of its business angels. “The platform has the power to transform the construction industry, and we are proud to be part of the change”
“We see the problem of delays and problems in the construction sector all around us, and it’s about time someone came up with a proper solution. Ignacio, David, and Jorge have the right vision and complementary strength to help transform the construction sector for good. We are very impressed by what they are doing,” said Wim Derkinderen, co-founder of Pitchdrive.
With the new funding, Tribboo will continue to expand and improve its platform, developing new functionalities that allow construction companies to grow, more and more sustainably. The company will also invest in marketing and sales to reach more customers and grow.
“We have only just begun,” said Ignacio Escarpenter, Co-CEO, “and with our investors’ support, the construction industry’s future looks brighter than ever.”
