toddl.co, Europe’s first SaaS solution tailored for organizers of children’s activities, announced that it has acquired BuscaExtraEscolares, the largest platform of academies and activity providers for children and adults in Spain.
This transaction brings together two industry leaders, creating a unique end-to-end platform solution that is indispensable for both leisure-education entrepreneurs and families.
Founded in 2021 by Stephanie Meagher and Lorin May, toddl.co is an EdTech startup based in Barcelona which provides an all-in-one cloud-based tool that helps academies and children’s activity companies streamline booking, payment and customer management.

Together, we expect to penetrate more than 10% of the Spanish market by 2024 and open markets in other European cities by 2025.”
History of an acquisition
toddl.co’s interest in acquiring BuscaExtraEscolares follows the recent appointment of Eneko Sarasola, a former Payflow employee, as the company’s CTO.
Sarasola will oversee the migration of BuscaExtraEscolares’ 1,600 clients to the new technology platform.
The acquisition is materialized through an exchange of shares and will integrate the teams of both companies.
After the closing of the transaction, the founder of BuscaExtraEscolares, Cristina García Ventura, will join toddl.co as Chief Business Development Officer, partner and member of the founding team.
